Jesús Romero-Trillo

Jesús Romero Trillo is an Associate Professor at the Department of English Philology (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid). He obtained an MSc in Applied Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh (1990) and a PhD at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1994). He specializes in the pragmatics-intonation interface in English and Spanish, and has published several articles on this topic in the Journal of Pragmatics and the Journal of Linguistics. He leads the CLAN Project (Corpus of Language & Nature) and is a member of the editorial board of "Journal of Pragmatics" and has been the Reviews Editor of the journal "Intercultural Pragmatics" since its inception.
