Teresa Gerdes

Teresa teaches at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid in the infant and primary bilingual education programme where she trains future teachers. She also teaches a module in CLIL (secondary education) at the Master’s level. She has been involved in the fields of bilingual education, ESL/EFL since 1984, and has worked as a teacher, teacher-trainer, educational consultant and ELT author. Currently she is pursing a PhD in Applied Linguistics at the Universidad Autónoma Madrid. Her main area of interest is teaching and learning strategies in a CLIL context.
