Kecskes: Interculturality and Intercultural Pragmatics

Jesús Romero Trillo is an Associate Professor at the Department of English Philology (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid). He obtained an MSc in Applied Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh (1990) and a PhD at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1994). He specializes in the pragmatics-intonation interface in English and Spanish, and has published several articles on this topic in the Journal of Pragmatics and the Journal of Linguistics. He leads the CLAN Project (Corpus of Language & Nature) and is the Editor-in-Chief of the Yearbook of Corpus Linguistics and Pragmatics (Springer)
